BIG NEWS: Two US-born babies have now reportedly been cured of HIV, and a leading researcher says there could be five more international cases where infants have been cured thanks to aggressive drug treatment within the first 30 hours. A clinical trial will soon begin to test whether this treatment works for other babies. If successful, it could help doctors treat the 250,000 infants born with HIV each year.
